These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through the website goldenhive.it. By placing an order, you fully accept these terms.

2. Scope
These terms govern the online sale of honey and beekeeping products through goldenhive.it. Products are intended exclusively for end consumers (B2C) residing in the European Union.
3. Order Process and Contract Formation
- Product selection and adding to cart
- Cart and quantity review
- Entering shipping details
- Payment method selection and order confirmation
- Receiving order confirmation email
The sales contract is considered concluded when you receive the order confirmation email. Before that moment, you can cancel the order at no charge.
4. Pricing and Transparency (Omnibus Directive Compliance)
All prices displayed on the site are:
- Inclusive of VAT at 10% (reduced rate for food products)
- Free of hidden costs - the final price shown in the cart includes all costs
- Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before order confirmation
In compliance with EU Directive 2019/2161 (Omnibus Directive), we do not practice "drip pricing": all mandatory costs are included in the price shown from the start.
Prices are expressed in Euros (EUR).
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected by price changes.
5. Payment Methods

All payments are processed through secure gateways. We never store your credit card details on our servers.
Payment is charged at the time of order confirmation.
6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs vary based on destination and order weight and are always displayed before confirmation.
You will receive an email with a tracking code as soon as your order is shipped.
Delivery is made to the address provided at the time of order. If you are absent, the courier will leave a notice for pickup.
The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer upon delivery.
7. Right of Withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU)
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal:
- Inform us of your decision to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods

- Return the products within 14 days of the withdrawal communication
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
Pursuant to Art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for:
- Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons and have been opened after delivery
Therefore, honey can only be returned if the packaging is intact, sealed and has not been opened.
Refund:
In case of legitimate withdrawal, we will refund the full amount paid (including standard shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer.
8. Returns and Refunds for Defective Products
If you receive a defective product, damaged during transport, or not conforming to the order, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will replace or fully refund, including shipping costs.

9. Legal Guarantee of Conformity (Art. 128-135 Consumer Code)
All products sold are covered by the Legal Guarantee of Conformity provided by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
The guarantee lasts 2 years from the date of product delivery.
In case of lack of conformity, you are entitled to:
- Repair or replacement of the product, free of charge
- Appropriate price reduction
- Contract termination
The defect must be reported within 2 months of discovery.
10. Review Authenticity (Omnibus Directive Compliance)
Reviews published on our site come exclusively from customers who have actually purchased the reviewed products. We verify the authenticity of reviews by matching them with orders placed in our system.
We do not publish fake reviews and do not remove or modify legitimate negative reviews.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the site (texts, images, logos, trademarks) is the property of La Tramontana della Cacciarella S.r.l. or the respective owners and is protected by intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
12. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence. This limitation does not affect the mandatory rights of consumers.
13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law.
For any dispute arising from these Terms or purchases made on the site, the Court of Rome has exclusive jurisdiction.
However, if you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the court of your place of residence.
14. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
Pursuant to Art. 14 of EU Regulation No. 524/2013, we inform you that there is a European platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) between consumers and traders.
